Remco Reiding, director of the foundation, says that this will be the only museum in the Netherlands that pays attention to fallen Soviet soldiers and prisoners of war during the Second World War. The remains of 865 fallen Soviet soldiers are buried on the Soviet Field of Honor, close to the National Monument Camp Amersfoort.
