The big brands are launching into the metaverse

Blockchain game The Sandbox (SAND) attracts luxury brands like Gucci. The idea is to buy land in The Sandbox metaverse to sell virtual fashion items to users to wear in the game. The Italian brand will therefore be able to present its products via NFTs. If the luxury brands lend themselves to the game, the big brands are also jumping at the chance.

Indeed, the Carrefour group has also acquired virtual land in The Sandbox. An e-commerce platform would be an opportunity to organize events or product launches. Gucci and Carrefour thus join, in the metaverse, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Burberry or even Ferrari.
