In Östersund’s tenth straight loss, something very strange happened to the team’s goalkeeper Daniel Rosengren. He lost his skate and had great trouble moving in front of the goal. Even though he yelled at the refs, they didn’t blow off.
– It was a new situation, says the goalkeeper after the match.
Östersund is last in the table and lost its tenth straight match, when Björklöven won on Wednesday evening.
In the second period something very unusual happened. Östersund’s goalkeeper Daniel Rosengren lost his skate rail and had to play without a grip on his left skate during a longer sequence in the match.
– It’s the first time I’ve been involved in that, says the goalkeeper after the match.
Photos from the match show Rosengren waving his arms and trying to make contact with the referees, to no avail. Now he is critical.
– I was completely convinced that they would blow off. I screamed for king and country, but they (the judges) didn’t seem to understand what was happening, or they just messed with it. I find it strange that they can’t blow off.
