In the second part of the documentary becoming Lee, we continue to follow Lee Christiernsson’s path to coming out and living as his true self, and the viewers can, among other things, follow along when Lee travels to Mallorca with his mother, sister and friends.
Here the sister and mother meet Lee as Lee for the first time
Lee calls it a “test trip”. A trip where he can be Lee, in a country where he is completely anonymous, before Lee comes out publicly at home in Sweden. And for sister Johanna and mother Ulla, it will be the first time they get to see Lee as Lee.
– Look at you, how beautiful you are! says mother Ulla, and sister Johanna agrees.
“Felt very natural”
Johanna talks about her reaction to finally meeting Lee.
– The biggest thing so far on this trip was when I got to meet you in your element, Lee. It was amazing! I have really longed for that moment, because it has been difficult to know how it will be anyway. And it felt very natural, says Johanna.
