Two dark-skinned men are being hunted after the shooting in Jordbro, according to information given to Aftonbladet.

The police cannot yet answer why one man was shot dead and another injured at the commuter train station in the middle of rush hour.

– It is too early to comment, says police spokesperson Per Fahlström.

While the snow is swirling, police work continues after the shooting in the Stockholm suburb of Jordbro.

At 10 p.m. it was still cordoned off around the commuter train station.

– It will be that way for a while. The technicians have been there working for quite some time and are still at the scene, says police spokesperson Per Fahlström.

If the shots were aimed at one of the men, or at both, the police cannot yet answer.

– It is part of the work that is going on right now, to look at motifs.

No one has yet been arrested.

The police are searching the bushes

A police hunt is now underway for two young men dressed in dark clothing, according to information given to Aftonbladet.

During the evening, the police gathered at an address in Jordbro, in a residential area near the crime scene. They search all the trash cans and bushes.

Dog patrol has also searched the area.

According to Aftonbladet’s information, it was a 25-year-old man who was shot dead. A witness saw him lying bloody on the stairs of the commuter train station.

The man had been released from prison only a few months ago. He had been sentenced to eight years in prison for attempted murder and drug offences.

A man aged 35-40 was also shot in the leg and stomach, according to information.

His injury status is unclear.
