The Löven victory came after a turn.
SSK took an early lead after the slope Daniel Norbe (formerly in Löven) pulled on a shot from Blå that Melker Thelin happened to drop in.
Joel Mustonen acknowledged 1-1 and in the third the turn was completed through Fredrik Forsberg.
Forward was played elegantly by Daniel Viksten, who himself had a cannon position in the castle before choosing to release the puck.
“Perhaps the best match over 60 minutes”
The goal was Forsberg’s 31st goal in the series (he chases the record of 39) and also secured the victory against SSK, which collected his third straight loss.
– It’s strong. Strong 60 minutes of us. It is perhaps the best match we have made over 60 minutes, says Forsberg himself in TV4.
The victory was Löven’s second straight after the two heavy losses against Djurgården.
The smug in the beaker for the team was that the key player Gustav Possler injured himself and was forced to leave the ice in the second period.
