The Twitch streamer shroud is considered a gifted shooter. Now he donates money for every kill he gets in a shooter.
Who is it about? The Twitch streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has thought of a special event for January 2025 in which he will donate money to a good cause.
shroud is primarily known for his gifted aim, which he regularly demonstrates in his streams. No matter whether CS2, Valorant, Fortnite or the new Marvel Rivals, shroud shoots with above-average precision in every shooter.
Most recently, shroud has been playing the new hero shooter Marvel Rivals. Here you can see what awaits you in the game:
Aim God donates money for every kill he achieves
This is what lies behind the donations: shroud announced on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 that it would be hosting a so-called Fragathon (via YouTube). This is a livestream event he came up with to raise money for charity.
During the Fragathon, which is scheduled to run throughout January, shroud will donate $1 for every kill he achieves. In addition, Twitch Subs (subscriptions that viewers can take out with streamers) and Donations (donations to the streamer) are intended to increase the dollar-per-kill multiplier. This means that $5 per kill may be donated later in the event. On top of that, 100% of the income from subs, bits and donations should also go to a charitable cause.
Shroud also invites fellow streamers to visit him during the event and contribute kills for the Fragathon from his house. The whole thing is complemented by IRL events and challenges that increase the kill count when not gaming.
What is the money donated for? shroud lost his father to lung cancer in 2023. In announcing the charity event, the streamer said he had been looking for ways to support people in similar situations. That’s where the idea of the Fragathon came from.
However, in the first announcement, shroud does not specify who exactly will receive the money and whether they will do so through a charity.
German streamers also regularly support a good cause. The 10th edition of the annual charity event “Friendly Fire” by Gronkh and PietSmiet ran in December 2024. A total of 2 million euros was raised: Gronkh and PietSmiet collected over 2 million euros for a good cause on Twitch, creating an emotional moment
