– For my part, it doesn’t work, she says to SVT.

But Lundgren has chosen to turn it down and now she is leaving the Swedish national skiing team completely.
– For my part, it doesn’t work financially, she tells SVT and reveals how the discussion was with the national team.
– Okay. We don’t completely agree, period. I think I rode well enough that I deserve a place.
Moa with criticism
On the women’s side, Sweden is the world’s best national team and the competition is therefore fierce. Moa Lundgren is now clearly criticizing the Swedish national team management that they should expand the squad.
– There is no rule on how many people can be in an A team. For another year, we might have several who were fourth, fifth or sixth in finals, shouldn’t we bring them then? If you think a year ahead, I don’t think we will have less good skaters. I think you have to start thinking about how to create a new place, why not have nine ladies and seven gentlemen?, she says to the television channel.

Now she will instead try running on her own training plan, outside of the national team organization. Together with the personal trainer Lars Ljung and the boyfriend Gustav Kvarnbrinkwho is also a skier, Lundgren will succeed at the World Cup without a blue and yellow suit.
– A desire to do this has developed, in this way it has been nice not to get a place in the A team, it has made it easier to make the decision. It sucks not being with the girls, but being fully responsible for myself feels tempting, she admits in the interview.
