Jonathan Dahlén is said to be in verbal agreement with Timrå.
Now the club responds to the information.

Jonathan Dahlén started the last NHL season very strongly and looked to be heading for a real great winter in his San Jose Sharks. But then it turned around and Dahlén had a lead-heavy spring, and as a result he didn’t get an extension with the Sharks.
Answering about Dahlén
He is still without a club, but there is no lack of interest in the star – not least in the SHL. Dahlén has never played in the Swedish top league, but has accounted for over 70 points each in the last two seasons in the Hockeyallsvenskan.
Both times have been with Timrå, and on Monday there was information in Aftonbladet that the club has verbally agreed with Dahlén on a monster contract of a full five years – which he will sign unless an attractive offer from the NHL appears. On Monday evening, Timrå had its annual meeting with its members. And then the question of Dahlén came up.
– No contract has been written. He is waiting and we are still waiting to see what happens for him. That’s the funnest thing I can say. There are a lot of rumors every day, answered sports director Kimmo Kapanen.
“I’m getting used to it”
Kapanen tells Hockeypuls that it is simply a matter of waiting the situation out.
– I’m getting used to that question. Every week I get it a few times. But it is calm. We start working on it. He says he wants to come here if we are lucky. We have been preparing the whole time if there is an issue, but right now it is calm, he says.
According to Aftonbladet, the contract offered to Dahlén is the largest in Timrå’s history.
– It will not be easy to find that money, but we are trying to do everything possible.
