The SHL star is now leaving Frölunda after the successful season – here is the new club

It was only one season in Frölunda for Malte Strömwall. He takes advantage of a clause in the contract and leaves to play in the Swiss top league next year.

The 29-year-old forward came to Frölunda last year from AHL play with the Chicago Wolves. During the SHL season, he scored 40 points (15+25) in the regular season and ten (3+7) in the playoffs.

“It has been a joy to have had him in the Frölunda jersey, he is a player worth watching,” says Frölunda’s sporting director Fredrik Sjöström to the club website.

Right now playing Malte Strömwall with Three Crowns in the international matches against Finland.
