The SHL player’s beautiful gesture to the opponent in the middle of the match makes everyone cheer: “Very beautiful”

Filip Hasa fell to the ice and had problems with his balance.
Then he was helped – by the opponent Viktor Lodin.
– It is very beautiful, says commentator Patrik Westberg.

Oskarshamn got off to a dream start against Frölunda but suffered a heavy loss in the second period. Frölunda scored four straight goals, but there were worried faces in the home camp when Filip Hasa suddenly fell to the ice, and had trouble continuing.

Nice gesture

Hasa was on his way out of his own zone when Oskarshamn’s Olli Palola came from the blindside and tackled Hasa, who was not even close to being able to protect himself.

– It (the tackle) is terribly ugly. It comes from the blind side and Hasa is not prepared. That’s a huge blow, says TV4’s commentator Patrik Westberg.

But it was what happened afterwards that now makes the whole of hockey Sweden applaud. Hasa found it difficult to continue after the tackle, and in pure desperation he went to Oskarshamn’s booth, to be able to stand up and hold his arms above his head, in an attempt to get air. There was also the opponent Viktor Lodin, who, despite the game going on, took the time to help his opponent. Lodin made sure Hasa kept his balance, and patted him too.

“Very beautiful”

Patrik Westberg sat in the commentator’s booth and paid tribute to the fine pictures.

– I think it was very beautiful to see that the Oskarshamns players stood up and waved that it is a player who is not feeling well, says Westberg.

Olli Palola escaped expulsion, something that TV4’s experts believed was correct as Hasa “should be able to be more prepared”. Afterwards, Filip Hasa paid tribute to his opponent Viktor Lodin for the nice gesture, and in hockey Sweden the pictures have gone viral, and everyone is now saying exactly the same thing: That it is precisely this kind of sportsmanship that makes hockey so special. Respect!
