We have all been small. Even big, muscular hockey players.
It becomes obvious when you see Linköping HC’s latest video on Instagram. The joke makes some of the players snort with laughter while others get anxiety.
Take a look in the player below and decide for yourself if you thought it was funny.
For Linköping, this SHL season started promisingly. Last Saturday, Brynäs was defeated 3-2 at home after a goal by Patrick Russell, Oscar Fantenberg and Robin Kovacs. One game, one win, three points.
The Instagram video tears down tan
It’s not just down on the ice that the LHC is having fun right now. Even in the dressing room, the team offers laughter and fun. It can all be seen in the club’s latest video on Instagram, where one of the employees of the association asks player by player for an autograph.
Of course, everyone lines up to sign the paper they get in their hands, but after a few seconds they see what it really is. Namely, the players get printed pictures that represent themselves when they were children. The reactions are completely different. Some like it all and think it’s a fun thing, while others are ashamed and want to sink to the floor when they see their former selves.
– How did you get hold of that one?, says Arvid Aronsson.
– Damn, I look sober, says Oscar Fantenberg.
– It hurts the heart, says Henrik Törnqvist.
The fans loved the concoction
One of those who actually liked the move – which is a viral trend – is the defender Linus Hultström. He recognizes his picture and even tells a little background story as to why the picture was taken. It was because he wanted to show off a ring he had received.
– What a fucking flirt, then. Good flirt anyway, almost spikes, he says and laughs.
Others are more skeptical:
– Where did you find this (picture)?, asks one surprised Remi Elie.
– You search deep in the archives for pictures?, says Because Rattie.

One thing that is clear, however, is that the joke at least went home with the team’s fans. On Instagram, they write the following about the clip:
“You seem to be an incredibly nice bunch. Tonight we crush Lule”.
“Cute everyone!”.
“Fun and good idea”.
“Ha ha! Everyone was so sweet.”
We thought this was neat. Always fun to joke around with the players and get them a little nervous for a while, although this was pretty harmless.
