(Finance) – The Val Serianaone of the leading entrepreneurial centers of the province of Bergamo, focuses on the development of space research and applications, thanks to the many skills (textiles, boilermaking, components, composites, to name a few) that can be converted for applications to be used for planetary exploration missions. With this objective, the Seriana Space Valley, a project that is the result of a collaborative undertaking between public and private bodies, Italian and Swiss, culminating in the creation of an institutional operational arm called Seriana Institute for Space Exploration and Innovation (SISEI). The synergy between the valley’s municipalities and international partners demonstrates the effectiveness of interdisciplinary and cross-border teamwork, as demonstrated by the partnership with the Swiss Institute for Disruptive Innovation (SIDI), directed by Pietro Veragouth.
