The serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer characteristic prison glasses are out for sale. The glasses’ current owner from Vancouver, Canada, says TMZ that he is willing to sell the serial killer’s glasses for 150,000 Canadian dollars, which corresponds to roughly 1.2 million Swedish kronor.
One of the most brutal killers of the 90s
Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to life imprisonment in the early 90s for 16 murders – issued of a brutal nature. But it only took a few years before he himself was killed by another fellow prisoner who was also serving a life sentence.
Great attention after the Netflix series
The infamous serial killer and his crimes have recently received a lot of attention in connection with the new Netflix series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer story”, which was released in September. The series quickly rose to the top of the streaming service and became incredibly talked about.
Owns several of the serial killer’s belongings
The seller tells TMZ that he managed to get his hands on the glasses and other items linked to the serial killer just a couple of years ago, after being contacted by a former housekeeper for Jeffrey Dahmer’s father.
Several items for sale
The Canadian man who runs a buy and sell site for “rare and unique items from the world of crime and cults” promised to put Jeffrey Dahmer’s belongings up for sale on his website in exchange for a share of the profits.
In addition to the glasses, Jeffrey Dahmer’s belongings in the form of cutlery, a Bible, family photos and a lot of letters and documents are up for sale on the website called Cult Collectibles.
According to TMZ, another pair of Jeffrey Dahmer’s frames were recently sold through a private sale to a “high-profile” buyer.
