Milan are looking for a new coach.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already submitted his dream name.
But now comes a sensational rumor about the Swedish world star instead.

Just a few days ago it became official that Stefano Pioli leaves the job as head coach of AC Milan. After five years at the club and a league title, the Italian has now given thanks.

Milan ends this season in a strong second place in the league, but it obviously stings a lot that they are a full 19 points behind arch-rivals Inter, who are winning the league in superior style. Zlatan has already named his favorite name as a new coach and submitted it as a proposal to the club management.
“Antonio Conte was Zlatan’s favorite candidate, but owner Gerry Cardinale has said no,” reports the Italian journalist Fabio Santini.

The rumor about Zlatan

Now instead comes a sensational rumor that it is Zlatan who can take over as head coach. Football site Goal.com reports that “Ibra” may be in the discussion and the Swede increased the speculation even more when he published a picture of himself on social media, sitting on the Milan bench, with the words: “4-3-3”.

Zlatan is known for his cryptic posts on social media and usually he can do it to tease. He has previously expressed no desire to become head coach, although he is extremely passionate about Milan.
“My love for the ‘Rossoneri’ will never die and the opportunity to be part of its future in a meaningful way is something I could only dream of,” Ibrahimovic said himself when he took over as Milan’s sporting advisor.
“This is not a decision that I take lightly, it is a very important and personal one for me and my family. I’ve thought long and hard about the first steps of my career after my time as a player and I couldn’t be more excited about this journey as part of RedBird and AC Milan.

The person who is mentioned as a huge favorite to take over the vacant coaching assignment in Milan is Roma’s former coach Paulo Fonseca. He is 51 years old and has coached French side Lille for the last two seasons.
