The Seine in Paris: “Passing like a dream”

The Seine in Paris Passing like a dream

With its 774 kilometers long, the Seine is only the third river in France – the second if we exclude the Rhône which has its source in Switzerland – and the 25th in Europe. But its exceptional location, with the deep water port of Le Havre on its estuary in the English Channel and its crossing of Île-de-France, makes it one of the most famous waterways in the world, whose history is intimately linked to Paris.
