In the strange incident that took place in China, a 60 cm arrow of an archer who was training in the open air was stuck in the face of the woman passing by because of her unsuccessful shot.
The screams of the woman, who was rushed to the hospital, echoed in the corridor. Because the arrow was too hard, doctors asked the fire department for help. The unnamed patient was seen being treated at a hospital in Xi’an, Northwest China, Shaanxi Province, and the arrow clearly appeared to have entered one part of his face and exited the other.
FIRE TEAM CAME TO CUT A STEEL Arrow
Firefighters used iron cutter scissors to cut the arrow. The steel arrow, which entered just under her right eye, fortunately did not hit her temple. According to local reports, the woman was accidentally shot by a man who was practicing his archery skills.
Police have launched an investigation into the dramatic incident, but in China arrows and bows are classified as sports equipment and are not intended for recreational use. The unfortunate woman continues to be treated at the hospital.
