Three historical stories in the predator universe
Predator: Killer of Killers carries the audience to three different historical periods: feudal Japan, Viking Age and II. World war. Each story follows a leading fighter of its own period. The first story includes a Viking Raider on a journey of revenge with his son. In the second part, there is a Ninja who opposes the Samurai brother, and the third part includes a war pilot investigating a strange threat in the sky. But these characters are not only deadly fighters; They also have to face the most dangerous hunters of the universe.
Dan Trachtenberg, the director of the film, describes this project as an emotional and intense narrative in which each episode is processed in a different type. According to the director, the most exciting part of this production is the unique challenges faced by the Yautja race in different cultural and historical contexts. “All episodes are different types. Some are more fun, some are more intense. Each of the characters is trying to break a cycle that has been ongoing for generations,” said Trachtenberg, especially the Viking story has both a fun and hard tone.
The film, written by Micho Robert Rutare and built with Dan Trachtenberg, is built on the characters created by Jim Thomas & John Thomas. The animation production is undertaken by The Third Floor, while the producer’s seat includes important names such as John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg and Ben Rosenblatt.
