The search operation for Turkish rescuers in Saidnaya prison in Syria has ended. The Turkish group found no more prisoners or hidden facilities.
According to Turkey’s disaster relief agency, the search was carried out at the request of the new Syrian authorities.
Last week, the Syrian White Helmets rescue organization ended its own search with the same results.
Bashar al-Assad the rebels who overthrew the regime already announced earlier that all the prisoners in Saidnaya have been released. However, those released from prison reported that there were still people in hidden cells in the building.
