The reigning Finnish champion Helsinki Seagulls defeated BC Nokia on Saturday and are just one win away from men’s basketball gold. The home team Seagulls beat BC Nokia by 77–57 and took the lead in the Korisliiga final series with a 3–2 win.
The championship is on break next Tuesday at BC Nokia’s home floor. A possible seventh fight will be played next Friday in Helsinki. The Nokians led the match series 2–0, but the Seagulls have won three in a row.
