The announcement came in a post on Facebook on Monday.
“I am one of those who have worked beyond my abilities and done everything for election victory, at all levels. For me, however, this has taken its toll and I will now need some time to regain control of existence. For the time being, I leave it to my colleagues in SD Sölvesborg to keep the flag high,” she writes.
Erixon was missing from SD’s election vigil in Sölvesborg on Sunday night, where the party increased by 9.9 percent compared to 2018 – and now reaches 38.9 percent in the municipality.
It is unclear how long she will be gone
According to Samstyret’s political secretary Filip Persson (SD), this means that group leader Robert Lindén will have a more prominent role within SD in Sölvesborg, while the Moderates’ Kith Mårtensson will temporarily take over as chairman of the municipal board.
Shortly, Erixon will see a doctor, says Persson, who then hopes that the circumstances surrounding her sick leave will become clear.
– The party is there and supports Louise and has supported her, then I don’t want to speculate on how it will be in the future connected to her sick leave, says Persson to SVT.
