How to use an Android tablet as a second screen with a PC?
The SpaceDesk app is very simple to set up and use. It is she who is at the maneuver to allow the display of Windows on the screen of the tablet without connecting any cable. Just make sure that the tablet and the PC are connected to the same local network (the PC can be connected via Ethernet and the tablet via WiFi if you wish).
► Start by installing SpaceDesk on your Android tablet and launch the application.
► Now install the SpaceDesk driver on your PC. It is available for Windows 10 and 11 (32 or 64 bit) and even for Windows 8.
► During installation, SpaceDesk asks to pass through the Windows firewall. Give it this authorization otherwise communication with the tablet cannot be established.
► On the tablet, in the SpaceDesk app, the name of your PC (as well as its IP address on the local network) should have appeared in the list of available devices. Press the link Login followed by your PC’s IP address.
► The connection is established instantly. The Windows desktop appears on the tablet.
► On the PC, open the notification area of the taskbar. Right-click the icon for SpaceDesk and choose Windows Display Control Panel.
► The Windows screen settings window appears. Here you can choose the desired display mode to duplicate the PC screen on that of the tablet or switch to extended mode to transform the tablet into a secondary screen.
► In extended display mode, nothing prevents you from adjusting the definition on the tablet so that the Windows Desktop occupies the entire available surface. From the PC, click on screen 2 (the tablet) then scroll through the contents of the settings window. To section Screen resolutionchoose the desired definition.
► On the tablet screen the setting is applied. You can use your finger to move windows, open apps, etc.
