In the end, the Swedish Consumer Agency had enough and suspended ten websites that were considered misleading.

The scam sites have been shut down

Now, a month after the announcement, two of the scam sites have been shut down. These two are Prestigefashion.se and Sverigeklyven.se, which also Today’s PS reported on.

Four of the ten banned sites have taken action. This means, among other things, that they have clearer marketing and more easily accessible return information.

Has a return address in China

However, there is nothing that says a company cannot have its return address in China.

– There are no rules against having a return address in China, but if you have one, it must be stated, says Henrik Jonsson, legal adviser at the Swedish Consumer Agency, to Today’s industry.

The suspended scam websites that Klarna had a collaboration with must now be terminated. However, it can be easy for the companies to get around the system, something that Nyheter24 wrote more about.
