The famous secretariat of Santa Claus opened its doors today until December 20th. The children will be able to send their list of toys to Libourne in Gironde.
Every year for 60 years, the famous secretariat of Santa Claus has opened its doors physically and virtually at La Poste de Libourne in Gironde. Children can now send their list of games and toys, either by traditional mail or by e-mail to the pere-noel.laposte.fr website by choosing “write to Father Christmas”.
Santa’s Secretariat: more than a million letters each year
Children can send their mail by simply writing “Santa Claus” on the envelope. To get an answer, just put your address on the back of the envelope. Father Christmas and his sixty elves (volunteer postal workers and temporary workers) respond to all children free of charge (in French and English). They also undertake to respond to the classes if the teachers offer this school activity. In their press release, La Poste specifies that the children will receive a beautiful letter from Santa Claus accompanied by a coloring postcard that they can send to their family and friends. A nice way to approach the holiday season. According to a La Poste spokesperson, approximately 1.2 million letters were received last year.
