La Route du sel is the title of Lazare Mohamed’s photo book which has just been published by Autre Monde. The Franco-Algerian photographer crisscrossed the north of Mali in the footsteps of the mythical camel caravans, to meet the salt workers. He brings another look at this troubled region. .
