The S management must have been warned about the sales methods – a year ago

The internal criticism grows more and more after that DN last week revealed that telemarketers hired by S-owned Kombispel used aggressive sales methods and particularly targeted elderly and confused people.

Now DN reports, with reference to sources within the party, that people within the Social Democrats’ party leadership must have known for a long time that the lotteries were sold using “unsustainable” methods. People in the party leadership must have been warned about the sales methods more than a year ago.

– It has been handled disastrously, says a source within the party to the newspaper.

The CEO was fired

After the disclosure of the criticized sales methods, Kombispel’s CEO has been fired and several people have left the board at the party’s request. The Social Democrats have also announced that they will stop using telemarketing companies to sell lottery tickets.

Several other companies that collaborated with the telemarketing company Effective Communication have also paused their agreements.

Both Expressen and Svenska Dagbladet have simultaneously reported that several people around the call center can be linked to organized crime.
