It is among the allegations that the weapons sent to the Ukrainian army for aid were also collected at this base. It was reported that Russia hit the base with 30 cruise missiles.

Describing the missile attack as a “terrorist act”, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov stated that there are foreign instructors at the base. Reznikov, who did not provide information about the nationality of the trainers, only stated that the information on the loss of life would be shared soon. Photographs from the base in February showed the image of American trainers participating in exercises with the Ukrainian army.

The base, which was built on a huge area of 390 square kilometers, was used for exercises and trainings organized within the framework of the ‘Partnership for Peace’ program between the Ukrainian army and NATO members before the war. It is stated that the Ukrainian Special Forces, which showed great effectiveness in the resistance against the Russian army, were also trained at this base.
RYABKOV THREATENED
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov declared the previous day that Western countries, especially the USA, made a big mistake in supplying the Ukraine administration with weapons, and threatened that these arms shipments would be the target of Russian forces when detected. Ryabkov said, “As soon as we detect arms shipments to the territory of Ukraine, these will be the legitimate targets of our armed forces.”
HIDDEN SHIPMENT LINES
