It was in the middle of the day that a large group ate at a restaurant in Malmö.
People ate and drank to the tune of SEK 82,000 before the entire party left the premises without paying.
On Saturday wrote Gothenburg Post that the preliminary investigation was closed. The Malmö Police’s press spokesperson read out a standard justification: “Based on the investigative material that is now available, it cannot be proven that the suspect(s) have committed a crime.”
But on Sunday there will be new news:
– There are ongoing investigation measures that are being worked on. There are a number of people who are suspected of fraud. Investigative measures have been taken, says police spokesperson Sara Andersson to Sydsvenskan.
The reason for the miss may be that the case is double booked in the system, and that one of the cases was closed for administrative reasons, according to the police.
The criminal classification is fraud.
