The elected official on the presidential party list in Kongo-Central, in the west of the country, will be assisted by Moïse Ekumbo, 30, a member of the ruling coalition, although elected as an independent. The office is completed by Ivan Kazadi, son of Deputy Prime Minister for the Interior, Peter Kazadi.

This team will notably have the responsibility of supervising the election of the final office of the upper house of Parliament, a body largely supported by the current president, Felix Tshisekedi. Of the 84 senators already known, only three come from Ensemble pour la République, the main party of the institutional opposition.
The next step will be to manage ambitions within the ruling coalition, particularly for the position of Senate President for which there is no shortage of candidates. For the same position in the National Assembly, the Sacred Union had organized a primary to decide between Vital Kamerhe, Christophe Mboso Nkodia and Bahati Lukwebo.
