Rosa Bonheur, an outstanding and fashionable artist to (re)discover at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris until January 15th.

A model of the emancipation of women and an ecologist before her time, Rosa Bonheur was also the first French artist to give her letters of nobility to animal painting. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of her birth, the Musée d’Orsay in Paris is exhibiting 200 works – paintings, graphic arts, sculptures and photographs – in a major retrospective that pays tribute to this visionary woman and artist.
