The Rookie Season 6 is already in the works. In Germany you have been able to stream seasons 1 to 4 on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video* , Disney+ * and WOW *. But only at WOW Season 5 has been available in Germany since July 5, 2023.
Luckily, the streaming service is bringing season 5 of The Rookie concurrently with spin-off The Rookie: Feds. Otherwise the new episodes wouldn’t make any sense.
The only right order for The Rookie season 5 and the spin-off at WOW
The Rookie is about late-caller John Nolan (Nathan Fillion). In the spin-off The Rookie: Feds, we follow fellow late-caller Simone Clarke (Niecy Nash), who is introduced at the end of The Rookie season 4.
The two series siblings are therefore closely linked and keep sending the main actors back and forth. Therefore, you have to follow a very specific order when watching so that the four crossovers make sense.
This is the correct order: You must alternate between watching an episode of The Rookie and an episode of The Rookie: Feds – starting with the parent series The Rookie.
