At least nine people were injured on Tuesday when the roof of a restaurant ship collapsed in Berlin, rescue officials said on Wednesday. Four people had serious injuries.
There were roughly two hundred people on the restaurant wing anchored to the Spree River when its roof partially caved in on Tuesday evening at nine o’clock local time. The cause of the roof collapse was not immediately clear.
Dozens of rescue workers and a rescue ship were sent to the scene, but reportedly no one had to be rescued from the water.
According to the German media, a concert was going on on the ship when the accident happened.
