The role -playing game for Warhammer 40,000 on Steam is just as cheap than ever, introduces you to the dark world for 28 euros

A little over a year ago, Rogue Trader was a classic computer role-playing game in the world of Warhammer 40,000 on Steam. Now the game is currently available on sale at a historical low price – and if you have the Game Pass, you can even gamble at no extra charge.

What kind of game is that?

  • You play 40,000 in Warhammer: Rogue Trader a free dealer, a ruler chosen by the emperor who is supposed to enlarge the empire.
  • The game is based on the role-playing game regulation of the same name, offers you classes, round-based fights and of course tons of story. You get a game like Baldur’s Gate 3, just in the world of Warhammer 40,000.
  • Rogue Trader offers around 100 hours of playing time for a single passage and replay value through different ends and decisions. The game is just as cheap than ever.
  • Here you get Rogue Trader cheaper: In the current sale on Steam, Rogue Trader only costs 27.49 instead of 49.99 euros and is therefore at a historical low price on the platform (via SteamdB). However, you only have time until February 24th.

The first DLC, Void Shadows, is also 20 % cheaper at 13.99 euros, delivers a new class, a new companion and about 20 more hours of play. Just make sure that you don’t accidentally buy the Voidfarer Pack – these are just cosmetic items.

In addition, on February 20, developers Owlcat announced that the game in the Xbox Game Pass is available. So if you have the Game Pass anyway, you can play the game without any further costs. If you are only planning to play a passage anyway, you can subscribe for a month for between 11.99 and 17.99 (depending on the version) and get Rogue traders cheaper.

Rogue Trader already has the second big DLC ready

The role -playing game offers tons of details that need to be discovered, and lives above all from the grim story it tells, as well as the multi -layered companions who are on your trip.

You go through a development yourself and get to know the world of Warhammer. Rogue Trader is one of the best games to get in Warhammer – because you quickly learn that there is no clear “good and evil” here.

Owlcat is already working for the game at the next DLC: Lex Imperialis. There will be another new companion there. This time you get to know a member of the Adeptus Arbites, i.e. a law enforcement officer from an organization that is almost as powerful as the Inquisition.

Exactly when Lex will appear imperialis has not yet been announced. However, the Season Pass indicates a release in spring 2025.

If you like round-based games and Warhammer, but search more for fantasy than for science fiction, you should be totally warely warely watch.
