This whole scene is pure goosebumps. This is how you end a season!
Many Lord of the Rings fans compare the Rivendell scene appreciatively with the original Tolkien illustrations, which The Rings of Power is apparently based on even more than Peter Jackson’s vision:

I love the look they chose for the Valley of Imladris. Instead of recreating the landscape from the Jackson films, I feel like they wanted that instead Vibe of Tolkien’s own painting (and that of Ted Nasmith).

Season 3 [von Die Ringe der Macht] will really hit! Lord of the Rings fans know: Rivendell will be important for season 3 of The Rings of Power
With its foundation in Rivendell west of the Misty Mountains, The Rings of Power adheres closely to the literary original by author JRR Tolkien. In it, Elrond founded the place as a bulwark and refuge in the Second Age of Middle-earth, in the midst of the Elves’ war with Sauron and after the fall of Eregion. In the Third Age, Imladris finally becomes a haven for elves and other travelers. This is where the young Aragorn grows up, the dwarves around Bilbo find a break and this is where the Lord of the Rings companions finally meet to plan Frodo’s ring destruction.
Rivendell also promises to become more important in the third season of The Rings of Power. Because what’s next is… Sauron’s bitter war including a seizure of power that will cover the entire continent of Middle-earth… with a few exceptions like Lindon, Rivendell and Lothlorien. So perhaps Galadriel will soon turn a certain forest further south into a refuge, following Elrond’s example? Possibly even with the help of the Ents introduced in season 2, to whom Arondir promised peace. Rivendell is now likely to become the new Elven center for Season 3.
