The Rings of Power final episode and 5 seasons already planned
The Rings of Power series, which received a great reaction with its first official trailer and announced its new characters, will be approximately 50 hours long, according to the news of Empire. The scale of the pre-planned series will be “huge”, with all story details and cinematography (directing photography) covering 5 seasons.
“Some of the events that will happen in the first season of the show will not make sense until the last season.” JD Payne continued: “We even know what the last frame of the last episode of the series will be like.”
Payne stated that the production team stayed true to the integrity of JRR Tolkien’s work and examined it down to the author’s annotations and footnotes;
“We do what Tolkien wants. We know we’re on the right track as long as we feel that every decision we make is faithful to his work.”
Set in the Second Age of Middle-earth and showing the peak period of the Numenor Kingdom, Rings of Power will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 2nd.
