The year of rising interest rates seems to be slowing down now that the Riksbank has chosen not to raise interest rates.
On Thursday, the Riksbank’s new interest rate announcement was presented and, as many economists predicted, the interest rate will not be lowered.
In September, the key interest rate was raised by 0.25 percentage points to 4 percent. Which was the highest level since 2008. The forecast then indicated that the interest rate could rise further.
