The relationships created after Sweden’s master chef

Twelve competed to become this year’s master chef.
Now two remain.
Tonight it will be decided who will win “Sweden’s master chef” in 2024 – but one thing everyone has won is each other.
– They are one hundred percent friends for life, says Josefine Freij.

“Euphoria mixed with being in hell”. This is how Tess Medina describes what it was like to participate in Sweden’s master chef. Her cooking has taken her all the way to the final, in which she now faces Josefine Freij. Tonight it will be decided who will take it all home.

– I’m not that competitive as a person, Tess states now in Nyhetsmorgon.

– I didn’t think I was that competitive as a person, laughs Josefine afterwards.

The bond between the participants after Sweden’s master chef

Instead, Josefine describes the adventure with the words “for life or death”.

– It might not be life or death I mean, I mean I took it very seriously. It was one hundred percent we gave, says Josefine.

There were twelve contestants competing to become this year’s master chef, and now only two remain. But even though the participants dropped out one by one, strong relationships were created that lasted even after the recordings.

– They are one hundred percent friends for life, says Josefine.

Talk daily and see each other as often as they can

Sweden’s master chef participants talk to each other daily.

– We have a group so we are constant… someone is always writing. “Good night,” Tess laughs.

– There is always someone who says something, she continues.

And they also try to see each other when they can.

– We who live in Stockholm also see each other quite a lot, but those who don’t live in Stockholm, they go here. As soon as they are here, they get in touch, which is great. We are very different but we have one thing in common which is very nice, says Josefine.
