What is Heike Makatsch’s last crime scene about?
Ellen Berlinger investigates the alleged suicide of a woman, Amira Hassan, who was stalked by an anonymous stalker. Berlinger believes Hassan was driven to his death. She advocates her theory despite the resistance of colleagues and superiors. When another woman, Julia Ritter (Susanne Wuest), falls victim to the same stalker, her suspicions are confirmed.

Last crime scene with Berlinger: Why is Heike Makatsch quitting?
The reason for the departure of Heike Makatsch’s Commissioner Berlinger is as simple as it is disappointing: the series falls victim to austerity measures in public broadcasting. “Inflation is also leading to noticeable cost increases in our fictional productions, which we can unfortunately no longer absorb without cutting back on offerings.”said SWR program director Clemens Bratzler about the reasons. The crime scene is losing one of the most renowned actresses in the country. Due to her prominence, Makatsch was probably one of the more expensive investigators in the Tatort series.
Is there already a successor for Berlinger?
The SWR wants itself “In the future, it will focus on its three other crime scene series in Ludwigshafen, Stuttgart and the Black Forest, each with two new cases per year.” concentrate, they say. Accordingly it will no replacement or successor for Commissioner Berlinger and Heike Makatsch give.

Tatort: Out of the Dark is available for its TV broadcast in the ARD media library. The station will broadcast the crime thriller on TV for the first time on Sunday, October 8th at 8:25 p.m. The crime thriller will be repeated on October 8th at 9:45 p.m. on ONE. There will be another repeat on October 10th at 12:45 a.m. on ARD.
