The news agency AFP reports that researchers at the University of Tokyo discovered something that was thought only humans were capable of.

It’s about moving with synchronized movements to the beat of the music.

– Rats’ brains are designed to respond well to music. But their bodies don’t usually move and I think that’s what we’ve learned this time, says Associate Professor Hirokazu Takahashi.

In the project, the researchers played songs from, among others, Mozart, Queen and Lady Gaga. Most of all, the rodents liked to sing along to music that had 120-140 beats per minute.
