Carola Häggkvist, 58, keeps himself constantly current and is regularly in the spotlight with his various projects and shows, not least when Christmas approaches. Because on Sunday morning she visited Nyhetsmorgon precisely to talk about her Christmas concert at Skansen in December.
But because there is so much about Carola to be curious about, the interview ends up being almost nothing at all about the Christmas concert, and an uncomfortable question arises – which she does not want to answer.

Carola tells us that she is currently living in her “prime time” and is doing well, but that she went through tough years after her chaotic separation, which she has now been able to leave behind.
– It feels wonderful and I can say that even without a husband, so it’s great, says Carola.
Program manager Sofia Geite asks about the love rumor – that Carola is looking for a man. But according to her, it is not like that.
– Yes, but of course I’m open, but I’m not closed. But it’s nice if it feels normal, I thought I’d say, no, but if it feels a bit natural, Carola says and means that she’s not actively looking for someone at the moment.

A few weeks ago, Carola put up a post on her Instagram and told us that she crashed the car when she was going to give her daughter a ride. In the video on Instagram, which has today been removed, she said:
“I’ve been tired since yesterday – and since last year, I thought I’d say – but it’s just a matter of holding on and persevering. I went a bit dizzy and ended up on a small refug that smashed the car.”

“Prefer not to talk about it”
Neither Carola, the daughter Zoe or others were injured in the accident, but the incident was widely reported in the media. Sunday’s News Morning was no exception. The interview in was largely characterized by Carola’s busy schedule and intense life, which led to the accident.
Sofia Geite asked what happened, but Carola backed away.
– Yes, I’d rather not talk about that, says Carola.
But she nevertheless ends by telling about the incident and that she was very tired when she drove.
– It was nothing good, she says.
