There are various quests and side missions in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred that you can complete. One of these side quests is called The Keening Spirit. Many players wander through Nahantu to complete it, but unfortunately that’s not possible at the moment.
What kind of quest is this? You can get the Keening Spirit quest from Diwata in the Kehjistan region south of the old city. Speak to the NPC who will inform you about ghosts and a ritual. Your task now is to reach a marked area in Nahantu and find a ghost there. A simple quest, but it’s currently driving many demon slayers crazy.

Quest is bugged – Leaves players desperately exploring areas
What’s the problem with the quest? According to fans, the quest is bugged. There are players who have combed the small blue marked area for several minutes to hours to find the ghost, but it does not appear.
Fans were hoping that the current hotfix would solve the quest problem, but players on Reddit are giving the all-clear – the quest is still bugged.
So ignore the quest for now and do other things until Blizzard takes care of this problem. We currently have no information as to whether the developers have registered this bug.
Does it take a long time for the quest to get fixed? We can’t say that yet. The latest hotfix focused primarily on preventing crashes that occur on PC and Steam. For now, Blizzard’s priority is likely to be fixing technical issues before fixing things like side quests. However, since Blizzard follows a quick update strategy when it comes to such problems, you can expect a prompt fix.
