Robin Tih’s club transfer to Qatar is almost complete.
Finnish defender To Robin Tihin, 21, career continuation in Qatar has spoken in recent days. Al-Ahli Doha, which plays in Qatar’s premier league, announced on Monday evening that Tih will be joining the club. The contract is said to be for five years.

AIK’s sports director Thomas Berntsen admitted last week that the clubs are negotiating the transfer of Tihi. It is also clear that Tihi’s transfer is close to its goal, as the Central Defender has already traveled to Qatar and undergone a medical examination by the Qatari club.
AIK also writes that the hope is to have the details of the transfer quickly refined.
Tihi was born in Sweden. His father is Moroccan and his mother is Finnish. Tihi made his debut in AIK’s representative team in 2020. In the summer of 2020, Tihi signed a four-year contract with the club, but spent the next season on loan at Esilstuna and IFK Värnamo.
In the current season, Tihi played in 13 of AIK’s 19 league matches.
On the national team side, Tihi represented Sweden in the under-16s, but in 2020 he is the head coach of Finland’s under-21s Juha Malinen attracted Tihi to the Suomen shirt. In Huuhkaj, Tihi made his debut in a training match against Estonia in January 2021.
