“There is a fire in an industrial property, resulting in heavy smoke,” reads part of the message.
The public is asked to go indoors, close doors, windows and ventilation.
“It is a fully developed fire and a large cloud of smoke initially,” says the police spokesperson Johnny Gustavsson.
There is a risk of spreading to nearby buildings
According to Lennart Ågren, officer on duty at the rescue service, it is about an industrial premises “with quite a lot of content”. Among other things, mobile homes are burning. There is also a risk of the fire spreading to nearby buildings and vehicles.
No injuries have been reported.
According to the police, the building will largely burn down, but a smaller part may be saved.
The site is cordoned off when the extinguishing work is finished.
