The series of studies that the province is now starting focus on, among other things, the effect of wind turbines in terms of noise, health and nature. The province is also restarting talks with municipalities, for example, they can become co-owners of a wind farm so that part of the profit flows back to the community. That money can be used, for example, to combat energy poverty or to maintain social facilities. There will also be a survey among residents of the province.
