Province of Utrecht – The province of Utrecht is working on a permit to capture, stun and transmit a pack of wolves living on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Deputy Mirjam Sterk said this this morning during a committee meeting. The permit was previously applied for for a lone wolf that was causing problems, but the judge rejected it after objections from animal rights organizations. They are now also contesting the permit.
