Utrecht – The province of Utrecht remains “fully committed to an equivalent alternative plan for widening the A27 within the Amelisweerd basin”. That says a spokesperson for the province in response to the amended Route Decree for the A27, which came out yesterday. For this expansion, the government has already bought out two farms in our province to create so-called nitrogen space, so that the A27 can be widened. It concerns a company in Tienhoven and a company in Waverveen. Outside our province, another six farms have been (partly) bought out.
