At the end of September, the current council – CDA, GroenLinks, D66, PvdA and ChristenUnie – the budget presented to Members of Parliament. In its budget, the council focuses on nature restoration, public transport, housing and the energy and agricultural transition. With motions (proposals to the council) and amendments (a proposal to amend a bill), Parliamentarians attempt to slightly change the proposed budget of the council.
