Shortly after yesterday’s explosion, a man in his 20s was arrested and prosecutor Mats Ihlbom later in the evening requested that the man be detained. He is suspected of aggravated public destruction.
Monday’s event is linked to last week’s attack on two restaurants in Gothenburg. According to SVT’s information, the same family relationship can be linked to the pub that was exposed to an explosion on Monday.
“The investigation is ongoing”
At the moment, the prosecutor does not want to comment on whether the detained man is already known.
– We are working on collecting a lot of information at the moment, the investigation is at full speed and is ongoing widely, says Mats Ihlbom.
