It was on Friday evening that the suspicious act must have occurred. A suspect, a 25-year-old man, was arrested the same evening.
On Tuesday, the man was arrested for attempted murder, while the victim, a woman, was treated for serious injuries in hospital.
– It is of particular importance that he is kept in custody and cannot communicate with the outside world, said prosecutor Jonas Fjellström.
However, the woman’s life could not be saved.
SVT seeks the prosecutor for a comment.
