Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese will meet the Chinese Prime Minister on Monday Li Qiang’s. It is also the most high-profile visit by a Chinese representative to Australia since 2017.
The topics of the meeting are trade relations between the countries, regional security and the Australian-Chinese writer Yang Hengjun’s death sentence.
Li began his four-day visit on Saturday, which aims to defuse tensions between the two countries.
